A few words from our learners

“I came into this course to refresh my skills in Microsoft Excel. I used the program many years ago and it never “clicked” for me. I now have a good understanding of the program and am very happy I took the course. Don’t hesitate! You will not regret your choice. Everyone at Tri-County Literacy Council is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. TCLC can help you improve your skills and confidence. I am a single mother trying to get back in the workforce. My skills are a bit outdated. Taking the Microsoft Excel course helped me be more confident with the program and myself. I feel better about my future. Thank you!”
-Susan Currier

“I can tell you that after taking this brief 6-week Microsoft Excel course, I can only speak highly of my instructor and tell anyone interested in going back to school (after 20 years away) that it’s OK. I felt welcomed and comfortable and well taught… A highlight of the course was the development of a Microsoft Excel document which allowed me to use the skills I had been taught with hands on practice.”
-Peter Amell

“Please call. They have helped me so much. I am sure of myself. Am not afraid of learning anymore.”
-Margaret Donohoe

“Tri-County Literacy Council is a friendly, outgoing atmosphere to learn in. Everyone can learn something to take away in their learning/job seeking journey. I am more confident in my ability to find employment… My position was eliminated in July. I didn’t feel confident about finding a position in the job market given my age and length of time with my former employer. With the new skills I have acquired from the Microsoft Excel course, I feel I am much more confident and prepared for searching for employment within my field of expertise.”
